Wade and Teri Simmons had big dreams of making a difference and creating meaningful memories with a large family.  In spite of their intense work ethic, it didn’t take long for these high school sweethearts to realize that their dreams seemed unattainable on their current career path. They believed there were things more important than money, but it takes time and money to do important things. They were struggling to find a way to have enough of both.  

Wade had a successful career educating others on the importance of financial planning, but one of his greatest frustrations was how ‘the deal’ kept changing, requiring even more of his time and effort at the office and with his clients, just to maintain his level of success. He found himself in the trap of exchanging time for money. Most of his energy and the best hours of his day weren’t being invested in the people and relationships that mattered most. His time at the office replaced coaching his kids sports teams or playing at the park.  He wanted to be in control of his family’s financial future and create options and choices. Those dreams becoming a reality slowly began to fade and Wade and Teri began to settle for less and give up on the possibilities.

When Wade and Teri were presented with the Amway business, they saw it as a way to ease some of the financial pressure and get some of their time back. It became much more than that.  Teri saw the spark not only return to her husband’s eye, but together they fanned that spark into a passionate fire. “This business gave us hope and belief again.  It was the business opportunity that provided the personal and financial freedom we had been looking for.  We’ve realized so many of our dreams and goals as a result of building this business and we love helping others do the same.”

Wade and Teri’s message is one of hope, freedom and family.  Success for Wade and Teri means living a life of significance in addition to enjoying financial success.  It includes engaging and being present with each of their five children and seven grandchildren by gifting them quality and quantity time.  It means building a marriage on the strongest of foundations to weather life’s inevitable storms.  It means living a principled life for good in a world where principles are often mocked and goodness constantly questioned.  Wade is fond of saying, “It’s not just about lifting your life it’s about whom you will lift in the process.”  Wade and Teri are a dynamic team.
